Task: Production of twelve high-quality animated episodes for the “Felix Fauli” series, completed in a single day using an optimized workflow and advanced technology.
Scope: For the “Felix+Fauli” project, we developed a streamlined 3D animation pipeline, combining cutting-edge tools and techniques to achieve exceptional quality in minimal time. The workflow integrated real-time rendering, motion capture, and dynamic set design, ensuring efficiency and flexibility:
Character Modeling & Rigging: Felix Fauli was expertly modeled and rigged to support detailed, expressive animations, enabling precise and fluid character manipulation.
Motion Capture & Greenscreen: Real-time motion capture animated Felix Fauli based on an actor’s performance, while greenscreen technology allowed for dynamic background integration.
Real-Time Rendering with Unreal Engine: Unreal Engine provided real-time rendering and scene previews, reducing post-production time and enabling immediate adjustments on set.
One-Day Production for 12 Episodes: A multi-camera setup and coordinated motion capture workflow allowed the capture and processing of all 12 episodes in just one day.
